Prof. Dr. Burak Özçelik

Prof. Dr. Burak Özçelik graduated top of his class from Ankara University, Turkey's most established veterinary institution, and continued his studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) in Germany. Specializing in "Undiagnosed Cases," Özçelik is known for the protocols he developed for the early diagnosis of food-induced chronic kidney and liver failures. He has over 40 articles published in academic literature. On the PetSafeDB Advisory Board, he evaluates the long-term organ damage potential of risky foods in the database and oversees nutritional safety for geriatric animals.
