Biography
Dr. James Alistair is one of the pioneers of "Integrative Veterinary Medicine" in Europe, combining modern veterinary medicine with functional nutritional science. After graduating top of his class from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in London, he completed his PhD on the "Gut-Brain Axis and Nutrition" at Cornell University. Throughout his academic career, he has studied the epigenetic effects of commercial foods and homemade diets on the long-term immune system of dogs. At PetSafeDB, he analyzes foods not only for toxicity but also for their "allergenic" or "inflammatory" effects.
